SmartSana was founded by Emmanuel Fru (also known as Fru Emmanuel), a Cameroonian technology entrepreneur, educator and AI and digital transformation consultant. It began in 2018, when power cuts kept interrupting his remote developer job and he and a friend found an affordable way to go solar.
